FML I can feel myself getting sick. Wife's had a real bad cold the last 3 days and I thought I was getting away scott free from it. Apparently not

 

That's pretty much how it goes except with writing lots of business lingo and justification for my answer. Not really excited about this because it's tied to job role/pay but their house their rules haha

 

I may be totally wrong but I want to say the SPC joints are similar to/same as Silverado ones. Probably be misremembering. They sure look like the ones I installed on my exes truck

I know jbas have the same 4 bolt deal going on as some Chevy ball joints

 

Has anyone here dealt with getting a state inspection for an R title? Maybe you might have some insight @Speedytech7 since we've in the same state?

The missus drove over a rock in the road and it crunched the front bumper and flattened the pass side unibody frame rail. Other than cosmetic damage it drives fine. Insurance is calling it a total loss but told her if she wants to buy it back she will have to get a state inspection to be able to drive it legally

 

It’s usually just a safety inspection done by your local PD.

 

Check into insurance too, I dunno about up there but I've heard some companies will charge more for vehicles with a rebuilt or salvage title.

Rebuilt less of an issue. Salivate your fucked on rates

Afaik in CO salvage title doesn't cost much to insure because you can't get anything more than liability coverage

Do you know what they look for? Online when I look for that second thing on the list is inspect frame. Hers isn’t broken just ... smooshed

I'd hate to buy it back and not be able to title it

 

It’s literally usually just a light check and wipers, etc. no noticeable damage that could be a safety issue

 

I'm not worried about that, a premium increase is less expensive than trying to buy a new to us used car in today's market
