It's so bad ins adjusted their payout amount to try and reflect it. She bought the car for 5k almost 2 years ago and they're offering her 7k now if she doesn't buy it back. But they'll give 5k if she does. Regretfully she still owes about 3k and I estimate close to 1k to cosmetically fix it

 

That "please note" part worries me

 

Might be good to contact the DMV or whoever does the inspection to ask first about your case specifically, before committing to the buy back

They go over everything to make sure it's roadworthy, they treat it like a new vehicle. If you have it driving well chances are it will pass but you need to provide recipes for work and parts used to restore it.

the hopeful part of me says you show up, a Trooper walks out to check the VIN and make sure that it looks like a normal-ish car, and gives you a green light

 

whats crazier is someone did the math and decided that it was a good investment that will make more than that back

Hell yeah!

The Weldmark I have is pretty decent too; has shades up to 13 like the Lincoln, and a grind mode...but the Lincoln has a much more comfortable harness and the grind mode is on the outside.

The two things that stand out the most are, how much thicker the Lincoln is, and how much clarity the 4C lens provides.

While I was just at the barber, wife was looking up used cars.. surprised she went that far cause I thought she was fairly sentimentally attached to this rig. Amazingly enough if we drive down to Portland we can find vehicles same age and condition as hers for a few thousand less than dealerships round here

I think shes decided we're going to OR this weekend to go look at some lol.. waaaaayyy easier for me and if she's not losing money I see it as a win win

 

Grind mode on the inside is so annoying. I forget its there half the time. looks like a fantastic helmet!
