It's the PNW, they have enough money to be in a late model Tundra (the official fullsize truck of people who don't need a fullsize truck)

But I'm not wrong on the lift kit

We have those types in certain parts of CA too; the women are getting up there too.

They either drive a 5th Gen 4R, or Subaru.

The 4Rs are always white with black wheels and nerf bars; half of them even have a ladder.

 

We just have lifted new model full size trucks that never see trailers or dirt.

 

You know what they say, don't judge a man until you've ridden a mile on his 22" rims with mud terrains

He lives in Indiana, most of the new vehicles roll off the car carrier with just minutes left on their frame

 

No they’re still here. Just broken down because Chevy Ford and Chrysler can’t make anything decent

hemis have no cams left, fords have fail phasers or plugged oil galleys, chevys 4l60s falling out of them

It still cracks me up that this stupid state assumes that if you have a heavyish (1500 or larger maybe?) truck you'll be pulling a trailer, and therefore don't need a rear license plate.

 

I'm surprised people even put money into an FCA vehicle; I mean they're legitimately throw-away vehicles.

And don't need to tell me about Chevy 4 speeds. Fair to say a lot of guys became transmission experts all thanks to GM

The 4l60 funded a whole generation of Chevy tech college kids just like the ol 3vz did for Toyota techs

 

Mom bought brand new off the lot 89 Chevy lumina APV. Came with a 4T60 transmission, thing was wild cause it was controlled by both a modulator valve and a throttle body cable. The cable controlled actual shift points between gears and the valve controlled "shift feel".

I don't know how it worked but both systems were adjustable completely independent of one another. The transmission never gave her a lick of trouble till the very end (288k) but the engine and damn near everything else.. whole different story
