First sign can be condensation in the light itself. Usually won’t be a stream of water. Slow drip, but yes water will settle behind the back seat or in the carpet or sometimes the backseat can even be wet. Once the carpet padding gets wet water can wick any where.

That is cool, you doing that.

The TRD Skid plate is MSRP $400. I got mine for $306 including shipping last month. Someone else got theirs for $289 shipped!!!

I'm retired AF and treating myself since I have adult children and a wife who thinks I'm nuts for buying stuff for my Taco!

I have to do what makes me happy.

This makes you happy and that's what it's all about.

EDIT: Have you seen what members here pay for headlights? $556...per side!!! That's insane...but if it makes the owner happy...like I said.

Ill let you know in a few weeks. Trying it out over new year. I have the smallest one, the Vagabond Lite, and its good for me+1 and my dogs. Im short so anyone over 5'9 is going to have their feet touching the edge. If you're 5'10 and above id move to the next size tent which is just the Vagabond.

Edit: To add to this, Roam made more sense to me based on cost. I've never owned a hard shell but none of them really pique my interest. Not for 3.5k especially.

not pissed, but astonished. I Understand the US code; however, applying service standards to a community proudly displaying their patriotism is unexpected, especially from one that has served. I proudly were a ball cap retention item given out by my command several years back daily and on it, have placed a left shoulder (subdued) US flag that was worn on my uniform in several theaters. Not arguing that a “US Flag” is red white and blue, but surprised that we would admonish others displaying their national pride in a manor that they find rewarding.

Unless they removed your light then no new rubber seal/gasket was applied. Sealant/caulked around perimeter and then applied trim ring.

instruction sheet is floating around here that will tell you exactly what route was taken and done.
    Nobody leaks… until it leaks!

fyi, it leaks because of 2 reasons I’ve seen. 1 the light is cracked where the bolts are tighten down or, imo the most common, is the gasket is thinner and deteriorates over time faster than it should.

look up the threads prior to this service campaign and see how fast it went from no leak to mold infestation. Take the gamble if you like. You have until 2025 before your sol

I think I'm somewhere in between these two levels of patriotic judgementalism. I too wore the flag on my right shoulder for many years, even the subdued version when I needed to. When I see the subdued flag in use, or a flag that's backwards or other relatively minor infractions I usually recognize that they are wrong but I don't bash on those that choose to fly them. They want to show their pride, and more power to them. The one time I do get annoyed is when people fly flags at home but don't take them down or light them at night. I'm all for patriotism, but if you're going to do it do it well. Even though I get annoyed, I still don't go out of my way to correct those individuals though. I just sigh and shake my head a little then move on with my life.

    this is awesome!!!!

I did not serve, but my dad was a Marine Corps drill sergeant in the mid 60's, so I grew up with old school respect, and knowledge about subjects like this. This stuff just really irks me...honestly, it pisses me off more than many other issues wrong with our current society/culture

and the BIGGEST, saddest issue here - to me - is the fact that NO ONE knows all of these rules about flag respect. You CAN'T be a true patriot, and be ignorant of the things detailed in that original post. There is no true, organic, legit respect in any of this. There is A LOT of posing.

I also think it is SUPER DISRESPECTFUL for non military people to be assuming the imagery of military items "just to fit in to the group" somehow. This actually hurts my dad, and I think that is why I am so sensitive to it...

but anywho, I will stop derailing the thread...back to the mods etc

I did my 10000 mile maintenance today...all looks good. hoping to add new shoes and a tonneau cover after the holidays
