Printed a tungsten grinder adapter for my Milwaukee rotary tool.

Something that will see some good use during the plasma table.build

I own my own shop, but it's just not for welding. But I do lots of other stuff. I'll help if I can.

Hit me up. I'll tell you if I can't help.

You never forget your first welding Hood !!

I hear tell it is kind of like losing your virginity But I have nothing to compare it to.

My first Hood was bought in 1972 and I have many fond Memories !!

Always good to have a extra hood on hand when the idiot Brain dead Helper knocks it off the table and breaks it speaking from experience

Good Luck remember it is under Warranty if it does not work correct.

Depending How much Arc time your getting I changed my outer cover plate every Morning.

few over the years Figure out what you like and Build it .

Anything you want you can build .

Though the price of steel is crazy if you can source seem decent drops or scrap to make things work.

Definitely won't forget it, being my first one. I may just forget I have it still

I brought the Lincoln with me instead and holy shit, what a difference the 4C lens makes!

I can literally stand farther away from my welds, especially before I strike an arc, because of how clear everything is. Especially in low-light

    20211216_081647.jpg

On my Weldmark, I've only replaced the outer lens once. Still have 5 replacements sitting aside, so it'll be useful as a backup with my extra batteries and all.

I can't get over how useful the exterior Grind mode button is either.

Very nice build. I’m really hoping the upright style winch will fit behind the grille somewhat and be tucked up in there. Was looking at using 3/16 for the frame mounts and winch mount. Going a little thinner for the rest of the bumper possibly 1/8. Watched Austin Niemela on YouTube build one on an older 4runner. Got some useful ideas from him hopefully mine doesn’t turn out as “bulky” looking as his when I’m done. We shall see what comes, gonna pull it into the shop this weekend and pull the bumper off to see how far up the warn will fit.

    Uhm...?

The idea is to not have to grind. Just saying...

Some of us aren't that good :anonymous:

Plus when you're given steel that's "ready to weld" but looks like this -

Mill scale I'll burn through, but rust?

The not grinding comes with time under the hood!

I think i have a grinding disc on now for a few years .

I do more blending and wire brushing and cutting then grinding

You should see what is called ready to weld in the Strip mines of my youth.
