Santa came last weekend and I forgot to post the pictures; My truck was having alternator trouble and I was a bit preoccupied...

 

I got sick of going through hundreds of pages of my thread and finally grabbed some old photos from Facebook; Here she is in 2018...

I only did the back of the truck and a wreath on the front; So boring compared to 2020 and 2021! For whatever reason, I chose not to do the back window that year...

 

This was when the left parking light was giving me trouble; It would come on if you whacked the lens, but it would go out again eventually...

 

According to the thread intro, I finally replaced the lights with LED units in September 2020...

 

Pictures of my house decorated for Christmas in 2018...

 

A look back at old Facebook posts confirms that I only did a lighted wreath in 2017, but here's 2019...

 

The cops around here have proven themselves to be incredibly cool with my Christmas lights, but they are still illegal; Back in 2019, I was still afraid of temping fate and didn't push the envelope like I did this year and in 2020...

 

As a result, my truck looks incredibly odd with the wreath on the front, but no lights between the top of the windshield and the wreath...

 

I don't think it looks odd. Of course I'm a little off myself.

 

Aren't we all?



That was two years ago though; 2020 is when I really went totally nuts with the Christmas lights for the first time!

 

In the interest of not cluttering up Bill's annual page with random photos of decorated houses in my area, I am going to start posting here from now on!

 

So I hit Doylestown Borough tonight; The thing about the Borough is that it is very tightly packed and it is not as easy to take pictures as it is in a typical subdivision...

I'm not even sure who these belonged to, as they were in a clearing surrounded by three houses!

 

This is actually a public space...

 

Fonthill Castle was not as dazzling as I thought it would be...

 

I had to drive into the more residential part of the Borough to get some really good shots...

 

The more touristy part of Doylestown has plenty of residences, but they are mostly large historic buildings crammed together on narrow 19th century streets, so it's not exactly easy to get decent shots of houses from my truck; Houses like this one were built on bigger lots in more subdivision-like neighborhoods, in the last 50 years or so...
