Wouldn't say best.. I just followed you most of the time, and didn't do much of the technical stuff. It was fun though, loved getting back in a raid!

Ran Trials today and it was brutal. First 5 matches I did perfectly fine but the last three I might as well have not even been there with the exception of a match saving super at the flag. Did great at the start but fell apart toward the last two matches. It happens. I've carried others through but I got carried through the last two matches. But we got it done.

Well... something has changed in Crucible. I noticed it in IB last week where you (or someone from the other team) would spawn directly in front of the opposing team which is an instant kill. Didn't seem to happen in regular Control so I just assumed it was an IB issues. Buddy and I played a few games of Control last night and the same thing happened. We literally spawned on the opposing teams side with most of the other team there. That is an instant death and nothing you can do about it. But it's also an instant death for the other team since they would sometimes spawn on our side. It's weird as I've never seen this happen in the game.

Think I'll just stick with Comp for a while since it doesn't happen there.

    Finally!!!!

We've been two manning the new Dungeon all day today and I finally got the Thousand Yard Stare to drop with the perks that I wanted. Quickdraw is great since it works both ways and of course Snapshot Sights is a must. It comes with one of the lowest zoom scopes in the game which makes it even better. Wish it had a handling masterwork but I'll take it. It's a beast in PvP. One of the best snipers in PvP right now. Even better than the Adored and maybe even better than my Eye of Sol? That's a toss up. But considering I can use my Messenger with Outlaw and Desperado along with the Thousand Yard Stare? Yeah, that's a deadly combo.

We’ve been farming the final fight. Get a checkpoint and drop in and whomever has the checkpoint bounces out and rejoins the fireteam. About 12-15 minutes and get the drops. Finally got an eyasluna with headstone and a 1k with dragonfly. Only issue is sometimes the RNG doesn’t play nicely and you end up with over a dozen helms

Ran the dungeon when it dropped and it’s the funnest dungeon they’ve put out IMHO.

I agree, I really like this dungeon. Much more light hearted than the others. Course I suppose it's supposed to be with the 30th anniversary and all? We run the entire dungeon instead of doing the checkpoint thing. All the weapons and armor have a chance at dropping out of any chest and we can have it done now within about 30 mins total. 3 Sleepers, particle deconstruction, well of radiance, empowering rift, and weapons of light will one phase the boss. I've gotten an Eyasluna with Headstone to drop before with some other perk that I forget. I quickly infused it into something else as I "personally" don't have a use for Headstone. It's fun to play around with but that's about it. Did get an Eyasluna with Rangefinder and that's the best one I've gotten yet.

I look at everything from a PvP perspective. If it's good in PvP I can make it work in PvE. But as long as the meta stays the way it is now? There just isn't anything that will beat my Messenger with Outlaw / Desperado. I want the BXR to be that gun but it just isn't. The BXR is damn good and I can make it work just fine in PvP (especially in sixes). But as much as I want that gun to be my go to gun in the game it just isn't for PvP. Every time I play with it I keep thinking to myself "I could be putting up a 40 kill bomb if I were just using my Messenger". I use the BXR in PvE just so I can use the GH. But if I want to burn through Strikes? Nothing is going to beat the Mythoclast for taking shit out quickly. But the GH is too much fun to use so the BXR is the next best thing. It just has a slower ttk than the Vex. We've been running Master Dares of Eternity and running Master you know what you will be fighting (no guessing at the plate section) so it's GH out the entire time since you always have heavy ammo.

But that 1000 Yard Stare is my new Sniper for PvP. Only thing I would change is for it to have a handling masterwork but that isn't a big deal. But I wouldn't use it in PvE since it doesn't have the right perks and there are better options than using a Sniper. I do like the new Wastelander Shotgun that comes out of Dares and I've got a couple good rolls on them. Perpetual Motion is a really cool perk with the Wastelander. I've got that with a range masterwork and since it's a lightweight frame it allows you to move faster. So most of the time running PvE activities I'll run the Wastelander, BXR, and GH (excluding the Dungeon and Atheon). Sleeper or any Legendary Linear Fusion Rifle with Fourth Times a Charm and Vorpal will melt bosses in end game content. I'm always running the relic in the Templar fight in VoG so I've never actually done any damage to the Templar since I'm busy keeping him from porting. But we have a bunch of people that have 1k Voices (which I don't have) so they melt him in less than two ports.

I did the unthinkable yesterday and finally started a New Titan again. I'm enjoying it actually. But top tree arc is where it's at for me. The grenade is stupid powerful and the ability to move around the map at stupid speed with the shoulder charge is like Icarus Dash on top tree Dawnblade for the WL. I opened up all of the subclasses and I absolutely HATE Stasis on the Titan. Can't stand it so I never ever see myself running that tree. Now I just need to farm armor for the Titan so I can build it out the way I want. Luckily Xur is selling One Eyed Mask this week with a good roll so I was able to pick that up.

Honestly right now? I think the WL is the best class in PvP and I main a Hunter. The way my WL is set up I can have Arc Souls up all the time by running Getaway Artists and bottom tree Arc. Yes I consume my grenade 90% of the time but I'm able to have the Arc Souls up all the time since I'm running double Bomber mods on my class item. The only downside is Stormtrance. I run Landfall and you have to time it just right to be able to take advantage of it. It is a very easy super to shut down so you really have to time it perfectly since you don't have a blink that you can use while in bottom tree when the super is active.

WL on the other hand in PvE activities don't have any super that stands out IMO. Yeah, Stasis is okay I suppose along with Nova Bomb. But doing serious boss damage? Nah, can't beat a Titan using Hammers. Well of Radiance is the only option.
