I was worried I’d attract attention with that post lol. Gonna have a bunch of dirtbag ski bum wedding crashes hahahahha. People can only crash if they wear neon 1 piece suits.
Do you work at potter brothers? I think I may have seen your rig in the Kingston parking lot?
Heli skiing in AK, awesome man! Definitely a dream. I’ve done some backcountry up there in the spring. for sure want to get there for some real deal AK shredding some time, mid winter. My pops and brother live in Alaska, but neither close to skiing.

Snow serpent you say? Nice. We call em pow-snakes here on the west coast. I was chased by one last year but I lost him in the trees. Man they are fast when the snow is light and fluffy

I do. I move around to all the company stores, but I'm based out of kingston.

Be careful about the acceptable attire for crashing. I own a spyder 1 piece race suit thats neon blue/yellow.....nobody needs to see that.

When the snow is light and fluffy, the snow-serpent has no power. It's like being in a bouncy-house. My friends and I to this day, still recollect one magical morning at Steamboat where there was 12"+ of pow and it was magical....

When the snow is cut up, or skied off, or heavy, that's the stuff that makes your ACL twinge...

Based on every other mtn taken over by Vail, I'd say your gonna be pretty disappointed.

Yes, this is what I’ve heard. The current owner is bad though so I can’t imagine things getting worse.

Last I've seen was 4-6" or so for the catskills. Not complaining, but not some crazy #'s I've had people tell me.

Working in a ski shop means I won't be getting out to ski it. Had a great day yesterday at Jiminy and the previous 2 nights there. I'll be at Belleayre on Wednesday to see what they got. Maybe if they got a great dump ill break out my new powder boards for some tree action.

    I am near Roscoe... I got 8".

NWS stated this storm was an elevation storm. If you were down near the Hudson, you got very little snow... but on the peaks... 12"+.

    I am playing hooky tomorrow.

I don't have to be at work till noon tomorrow. Gonna go ski belleayre first thing for a short bit the run down to work. I can get in 2 hrs in the AM.
Off on Wednesday, so the day at belleayre, or maybe if I'm feeling adventurous head up to Gore.

I'd say I got about 7-8" at my house in Kingston. My parents got 3-4" in poughkeepsie.

While the Belle is closest, Windham is on my pass, so that's where I'll be schussing....
    Get some good turns!

I am most likely off to Cannon and maybe Waterville Valley this weekend. Or we may head to Saddleback. Any one been yet? How are they?
