You know what mod really grinds my gears? People that hang a US flag off the back of their bro-dozers for 'Murica but don't have the decency to retire, respectfully destroy, and replace when they get tattered and unserviceable.

LOL! Like I was saying it's a Free Country and they are trying.
Maybe they can't afford to buy a new one? We shouldn't assume that everyone has the extra cash to buy new.
I'll keep that in mind. If I should notice that I may buy them a new one. After all we are on the same Team!

That's a horrible idea. What time?
Expense of replacing an un-servicable flag should not be an excuse. If you could afford your $20 flag in the first place, you can afford to replace it.

I hadn't thought of that. My thoughts immediately go to giving the same advice I would give anyone contemplating getting a pet or having a child, "If you can't give it the respect and care it deserves you probably shouldn't get it." But your method would certainly come of as less of a judgmental dick.

It was the same way the last time I was on an active duty base for any length of time, 2017 coming back from my last deployment.

People will buy a brand new pair of jeans full of holes because they prefer jeans with holes in them. Maybe the same applies to tattered flags?

LOL! They still do that! (Like it's a huge burden; SMH!)
I stand and go outside when I hear it.
It's the least I can do for those that gave the ultimate sacrifice!

It saddens me that I'm certain a non-zero quantity of people would do exactly that.

If your flag is worn and tattered or whatever you can take it to your local VFW and they actually have a ceremony to dispose of them properly.
I was on flag detail in the Army and I thought it was a great honor to do so. Been to a lot of funerals and many brought a tear to my eyes. My 2 cents.

I don't know. I see them old rigs that probably shouldn't be on the road and the chromed out lifted bro-dozer diesel trucks as well. I think there is some misplaced cool factor in all of this and a lack of knowledge and respect. Which seems rampant these days.

Not today but the other night my sliders showed up and got installed.

Still waiting on Bumpers, the rest of the skids and my new suspension.

mine wasn’t leaking and I wasn’t going to do it but these gents on the forum and all the YouTube videos describing the issue made me decide otherwise. Doesn’t hurt to take precautions. Is the seal on the 2021 thicker like my after picture or thin like the before picture?

Mobil 1 as well as other good synthetics are readily available at stores like Wal-Mart for cheap. Not sure what the Toyota oil cost?

My 1997 LX Tacoma was only about a month old when a telephone repair truck pulled out of a muddy side road in front of me. Mud was going 20 feet in the air. A fist size clump of mud and rocks landed in the center of my new hood. I was not happy at the time.
