After 49 years of driving I had a few never yet one I could not drive the vehicle home!

Driving with a broken tie rod on the 85 Celica was interesting about 5 miles

I don`t count the many deer impacts Motorcycles or Horse mishaps or if someone else was driving

 

Got any major plans for your 2 weeks off?? Going to run off and hide off the grid for a few days??

 

Bush hog where we hunt, rented a house in the mountains for Christmas, got to get leaves up, paint some bathroom & kitchen trim, work the store, etc.

 

My wife has a conference every February in Hawaii. That's a tough one to come back home from!

 

My wife is going to one in Colorado in January, she ask if the kids and I wanted to go. Nope on that one.

 

A few years ago she went to a conference in San Diego and asked if I wanted to go. I looked at the weather and the area the conference was in and decided she could have that one to herself.

I hit my own car, in my own driveway -- on 2 separate occasions....

My wife usually doesn't drive the Cherokee, one day she had the hatch open in the garage and decided that whatever she was doing would be easier out of the garage. She is 5'2" by the way and hadn't pushed the overhead door up all the way... Didn't put a mark on the Cherokee, seriously messed up the garage door -- that was pretty funny.

Not related but still worth a laugh:

She has groceries in the back of her car (Subaru) so I go out (in the dark) to bring them in, I'm 5'11" and she pushed the hatch up far enough that she (5'2") could walk under it -- ever take a hatch to the forehead in the dark?
I ask her if she is after the life insurance money.

 

My 2011 Tacoma DCSB was totaled in 2014
Was hit broadside by someone who ran a red light, flipped the truck onto the driverside into the oncoming lane....
Truck was then hit by a TRIAXLE Volvo dumptruck back into the middle of the intersection...
was going 25-30 when hit

thought i was was "lucky" the light had turned as approached the intersection, and didn't have to wait at the light,
got real unlucky when the dumbass ran the light
lucky the truck got pushed into the lane far enough that the dumptruck hit the frontend of the truck "square", and didn't come through the cab
