    I wanted to like that style as well but in almost all instances it places the phone directly in front of the stereo - blocking the display and controls. Another deal breaker for me.

    So far so good on the new suction cup mount. Switched a magnetic head onto the gooseneck. Most end fittings will fit on almost any ball. You just need to keep the nut with the end fitting together. I hope that makes sense.
