^^^ Thank you for the comparison pic. That new Tundra’s front end is a bit obnoxious.

You and me both. 5'9", 215lbs, 40" pants, and its just fine getting in and out. No Tundra for me due to cost and not fitting in the garage.

Is the older gen in that pic lifted? Newer gen looks like its approach angle sucks in comparison, but it’s hard to tell.

It is too bad the Tundra didn’t get the LC300 front clip.

Even if they simply painted the Tundra front bumper body color it would look a helluva lot less obnoxious.

I see a lot of discussions whether the 4th gen will use leaf or coil springs. Based on the information provided by Mike Sweers (Toyota's chief engineer), if the Tacoma is going to use the TNGA-F ( perhaps even K??? ) which is fully boxed, leaf springs is not an option. As Mike pointed out, the rigidity of the boxed frame necessitates the use of coil springs. If it doesn't use coils, then the truck becomes literally a bone shaker. Whatever they decide, I hope the price remain affordable. The ridiculous prices of the Tundras is a harbinger of what the Tacoma prices will be!!

I'm all for the large grill front end fad since that's the part that takes all the bug hits, rock chips, dust pelting, etc.. Painted surfaces just get chewed up in no time if you drive on the highway a lot.

If it's mostly just plastic pieces then you can easily swap out for new parts later and not worry about trying to color match to your existing bumpers/fenders/etc.

It'll probably help with AC performance in the summer too.

The tailpipe is where the used up electrons fall out.

Is it too late to request an option? My kids are getting bigger and 1’ of more interior space would be appreciated.
