Yup no big deal. We make a doc at the beginning of the year with our goals on it and just add accomplishments as we go, then review it every other month. It’s half performance review, half catch up, pretty low pressure tho.

That’s a long time to wait! Is it one big review for the year?

Yeah it's for like the last year and a half lol

Between CV delays and a couple reorgs the process got messed up quite a bit. Last time was pretty laid back but I'm eligible for promotion to Senior SE so I feel the pressure more so this time haha.

That's pretty chill, I think I'd rather have your process

Oh yeah a promotion on the line is always a bit of stress.

Our boss has a giant spreadsheet full of magic that determines our raises. He’s super methodical, so I guess that takes some of the stress out.

Ya, initial googling sssms like it’s a solid engine. Might check on the transmission next.

I really don’t need 2 trucks, and this might be a good road tripper…

My family is gathering for Christmas in Florida at my rich aunt’s house. A plane ticket was offered to me when I said I couldn’t make it. Normally hate handouts but it will be nice to see some of them.

This girl I’ve spoken about before invited me to Maine for Christmas. But that’s an odd situation.

Unironically I can judge my mental health by my back and hip pain .

Sometimes when I'm super stressed guess what I notice before I notice before I'm super stressed
