My truck is at the dealership! Won’t be ready until Saturday and I probably can’t get out there until Monday, but at least it’ll be waiting for me

I'm sure this has been debated before, so forgive me for bringing it up again. Do I wait for the 22 TRD Pro, or modify a 22 TRD OR to get it close to a Pro and save a few bucks? No extreme off-roading, mainly beach and simple trails. First world issues...

I've had mine for about a month so far. I put a Lomax cover on it, added bed lights, and have a set of lund running boards that will go on this weekend. I want planning on the running boards but my parents and wife need them.

I'll add pictures when that's done.

Depends what appeals to you about the Pro or if the TRD OR will meet your needs. I'm content with my TRD OR. Stock for stock, the Pro won't offer much in capability over the TRD OR. I think aftermarket suspension offerings are better than what comes stock with the Pro. Some people want the "best" product offered by a manufacturer though. You'll have to make the payment on it every month and live with it. So whatever you choose, choose wisely. ;)

Besides, the OR is already stupidly expensive right now. Less money going to the payment is more money going to mods!

I have a local dealer who isn't marking up Tacomas, just MSRP. Sucks, just not as bad as it could be. Other dealers are saying they will be marking the Pros up 10K.

    All vehicles!
That goes for all vehicles these days. Used is worse. I was looking at a 2021 used Trd OR that had 8000 miles on it and it was more expensive than a brand new Trd OR with similar options. I’m glad I went with my 22….

Yeah, I got a little raped a few weeks ago when I bought a 2020 TRD-OR. I require a stick shift, so I would've needed to wait, and I totaled my Mazda3 so I couldn't wait. Good truck though.

I had a 16 TRD OR and then an 18 Pro. I prefer the Pro because it's great right out of the gate. Also better resale value.

How do the tails look on? Does it darling the light much? I know some is expected but how much is what I would like to know? Even thinking of this same mod. I did the yellows on the fogs.. liked that a lot..
    looks good by the way!
