Yeah! If I had a black truck I think I would leave them green, that's definitely a nice combo. There was a brief moment when I picked up the kit where I wished my truck was black haha

The only bad thing with a black truck is that it’s only clean for about 5 min, right after it’s washed.

So I've heard. My partner just got a black Rubicon Wrangler a couple months ago and he's definitely gone the "fuck it" route with regard to trying to keep it clean  We're both so bad at washing our cars :anonymous:

I wash mine every now and then but with the understanding that it’ll only last that 5 minutes. It’s just to get the crap off of it, not to look good

I am having the dealer put mine on. Was ordered 2 weeks ago. No idea when it will be there but I am getting anxious. I have a lot of other stuff going on the truck at the same time. But I got the stage 2 3" performance. Website says back in stock dec 10th but I'm not sure if they were in stock before that or not.

Also went ahead and ordered some nitro 5.29s ;)
    Cuz why the hell not.

Nice hopefully you’ll get it sooner than later. I know they’ve been pretty behind getting kits shipped out. I’d be curious to know what theyre backlog looks like. If you know a local place that can built them it might be quicker to order them nonassembled and get top hats from Amazon.
Those gears will be nice too!

@Montana_Actual Seconding Eric, I'd bet a lot of their delay is related to having to assemble. Was notified my kit (unassembled) was ready for pick up maybe a week after they posted to install that kits were in stock. Do you have an appointment with the dealer that you need to get it in time for?

Jealous of your gears! That's a "maybe someday" dream for me.

That's a negative. Last contact from them was 10/29/21 (this Friday will be five weeks):

Thanks for reaching out. It looks like some of the bottleneck at the ports has slacked. We are expecting to receive the C coils shortly and your pre-built coils should be able to be produced in the next three weeks. (Sorry, the pre-build team is now playing catch up ball like a champ) Hope this helps, Cheers! John

I keep meaning to email and request an update but I'm kind of feeling like "why bother" at this point. Part of me has considered cancelling the order but that's more me second-guessing whether or not I even want to lift the truck than anything else.

Ohh, you’re waiting for the Cs… what made you decide on those? Supposedly they are 827# like the B but shorter. Maybe see if they can just get you the B if you don’t have them and adjust them on the strut. Unless you got the nitro, can’t adjust them.

that timeframe is pretty unreasonable and the lack of communication sucks, they really should be more active. Reach out to them on Instagram, they are pretty responsive there.

Oooh yeah, like Eric says if you have the option to swap coils for ones that are in stock, I would. But who knows how long the assembly back log still is.

Also agreed that their lack of communication is annoying when they've had folx who have been waiting for SO long -and- have obviously seen their "back in stock!!!" ads. Even if there's no real update just a "hey, yes, they're in stock, but we're still working on assembly and will notify you when your kit is ready" with maybe an ballpark timeline would be nice.

I'm kind of ignorant on the difference to be totally honest. I selected constant load options for front and rear. Already have full steel bumper on the front, and plan to add a winch (plus we have a family of five we take camping in this truck). Already have reinforced fiberglass (~300lbs) campershell on the rear, may add steel bumper down the road, and the family carries a ton of gear when we mob. Maybe I overdid it.

Honestly, I can’t say for sure. I’ve been trying to wrap my head around spring rates and from my understanding, with the same thickness, lengthening or shortening the coil will result in a higher or lower rate. From the info they are all 18mm in diameter. But each are a different length with A being the longest and C the shortest. Using that, c should be higher than 826#. I’m just not sure lol. You’d probably be good with the B and adjust as needed but your best bet is to ask them.

They came in today. Well, all but the rear shocks. "chris" the parts guy from yota said the rears should be there tomorrow.

    Stoked.

I said that the past 3 lifts... not this time. It's coming first and I don't care what rpm I am at 70 or how much gas it takes lol. I need to have it in my life. Already posing with a 5.29 sticker while riding around on stock gears, I can't hide this much longer ;)

I looked at the site this morning and the C show as out of stock. If you’re tired of waiting, ask if you can get the B instead. They will probably still be good (no promises I have no idea what I’m talking about).

the only thing I dislike about IM is that I have no idea if other springs with 2 flat sides will work on the coils. I’ve been tempted to try and just use the top lock nut as the spring seat but don’t know if it’s safe to do that. I don’t think there are any 3.0ID springs that only have one flat side.

Oh lol it's not that I'm hemming and hawing about if I want it or not, I definitely do. It's more of a "do I have the money to throw at that right now/near future?" kind of thing. Most likely buying a house with my partner next year so I'm trying to save up so I can throw a good chunk in for the down payment.
