Laughed my way out of the dealership

I have always suspected that if a dealer reaches a certain volume of sales in a particular model then they get incentives back from the manufacturer.
So if you walk in on the last day of the quarter or month or however they run their program and they are a few units shy of reaching the magic number you can get a really good deal if they think it will help them reach their goal and
get additional money back.

 

It is possible. This is why you should have a good relationship with a sales manager or salesman. They can let you know if that situation exists and get you a sweet deal.

 

Their purchase price goes down for the next month. That's why dealers don't pay that invoice price that is listed on the paperwork

 

Allocation is granted on sales volume history.

 

I bought mine in july...and now i got to see the 2016. I was impressed but then again i still got a good deal on mine. Just wish i had a better tailgate and navigation thats standard on the new model.

Dealers are killing it profit wise. Less cars on the lot = less employees. Before they would screw bad negotiators, folks with bad credit, their grandma. Now they are screwing everyone!
