I’m trying to decide between Falken Wildpeak AT3W 265/70/17 and 275/70/17. The 265 is a 10ply and the 275 is a 6ply. I have the OEM factory lift being installed on the truck so I know I can fit 275’s but I feel like my gas mileage is going to plummet if I go with the 275’s.

Thanks! To be honest when I first was test driving I wished they were the black version, but these have grown on me a ton, glad it came with these!

That’s why I stayed with 265. I have 2.5 inch Eibach lift and with the wheels I have, they look great and I have maximum travel for any off-road needs

Bought a 22 ORP Last month and got the TRD lift and a few other options installed and I like the quality so far! Smoothie tide so far and it clears 285/75/16s so I’m happy with it!

Love that color! We ended up in Army Green only because that one hit the lot first. Stock fogs or did you modify those?

Thanks! I have been waiting for lunar rock to come out, I had a 2018 quicksand and missed it so I’m happy with the replacement. Fog lights are stock leds on both trucks with just the laminx film covers

fwiw I went with 265/70R17 after the OEM lift and love them! I actually think my average has mileage increased ~.5 mpg over the stock wranglers, but that might just be me trying to justify replacing perfectly decent tires with <10k miles on them

Same boat. Here’s my 22. Off road 4x4. Mine is a manual transmission. Added a few things. Love the Toyos I upsize the tires to 265/75R 16. I went with SL. Added Demon brackets and vinyl stickers on the front grill. Also bought a little badge. The ride is now more truck like, but I off road and camp a lot so it should be worth it. Kept the stock rims as I actually really liked them!

Took the Blizzak DM-V2 265/70/R17s from our 4Runner and swapped them to the Tacoma for our winter set. Torn between BFG & Wildpeaks for our all seasons... Probably stick with the same size, maybe 275? Thankfully I won't have to buy those until March.

I’ll be running the Wildpeaks this winter, and will post a review on here after a few months!

If you have a lot of rain in your seasons, go with the wildpeaks.

I like it. It’s not a smooth as when it was stock, but I knew that going in. It gives it a nice stance.
