What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I drove it today and picked up groceries. Now its stays parked until a week from now when I get groceries again. It has a simple purpose, but a good one

 

Right there with ya. I had to install a charging port just to keep my battery topped up enough for my bi-weekly food trips.

 

Lol, right. Around town I drive my car and the truck is for random hauling of things or groceries or if I need a reliable car to go far. The car is not a reliable and go far car

 

As promised. I just installed my wheels from Custom Offsets.

 

I just dont go anywhere in the winter. Summer I am fishing 4-5 times a week, but in the winter I can go ice fishing 1-2 times a week(ice fishing trips are a day event, summer fishing can be a hour long), but we still dont have solid ice yet.

 

Woke up to this. Now that I'm finished at work I'm going to see if someone has time to repair it.

but rotate vehicles with my lady going to the gym in the mornings.
Gym is 1 mile away
grocery store is 2 miles away

 

Bought a new garage for our truck, that happens to be 3,200 miles away unseen. YIKES! Thankfully said new garage is also attached to a new home, but still is 3,200 away. LOL

where did you end up getting them from and how much$?

 

I bought them from my dealer and they were $1500. The regular non pro ones with chrome were only $10 cheaper each

 

Once you get some more miles on it, please update. I had a Hooke road on my pro when I bought it and immediately took it off. Sounded like a hurricane above 35. So noise it a deal breaker for me in a rack. But I really want one.

 

Ok so if the rack wouldn't make any wind noise then wouldn’t the rifle cases that everybody mounts on those whistle like crazy?

Day 3 of my "experiment" trying keeping the truck in S-5 every time I drive. 24.7 mile drive to work each day so with other stuff I'm over 100 miles. average MPG is 20.7, including needing to go in 4HI to/from work one day due to conditions. not exciting, but it's what I've done with my Taco. next thing will be replacing the main power going to my bed lights since there's a rub somewhere. full power by the fuse, almost none at the far end. boring stuff.

 

??? probably. But I want it to use when I need it. I’m not loading it up with cases all the time. I’ll deal with the noise when it gets used. But the rest of the, as it is my commuter, I want it as quiet as possible.

 

Hmmmm, mine only took 1 week from order to installed.

 

Had zero wind noise issues/complaints with the full length Prinsu on our 4Runner. With the iKamper mounted however, that was a different story.
