Hey all, just a heads up but it looks like it's supposed to rain it's ass off tomorrow, so I'm not positive if I'll be up there yet

Lol I mean, last time we were there it at least held off until around closing time. What I'm tracking says it should be raining before we get there, through close

    I mean, what’s off roading without a little mud… unless you’re in the desert…

Exactly. I'll take mud over dust any day. That weekend up at Dave's that time was dry as hell. I never knew that much dust could get inside a vehicle. :frusty:

So is this still happening? I’m newer to TW and would likely be interested. Always wanted to go here on my pretty stock Tacoma - no friends of mine are interested in off roading their rigs

Welcome to the forum Bryon. :hattip:

I personally am not going but I'm willing to bet some people are for sure. There's also a PA thread on here and my Good Friend @Taco critter John is the perfect ambassador to introduce you to the very nice people that frequent it.

I guess no one went? It only drizzled in the morning. I had to hang out with Jeeps all day.

Sorry boss, I saw the weather and for me its 2hrs drive there and 2hrs drive home - with all the rain we were supposed to get, I didn't want to risk it

Two hour ride each way for me also :)

It said 90% chance of rain but only a quarter inch for the whole day. I wasn't too worried. It wasn't even slippery surprisingly. Wish more would have came. The whole place was littered with Jeeps and the only Toyotas were my friends and I.

I'll remember that next time I go up there. I was worried ithe 90% rain would make most of it intraversably slippery, you know?

Yeah it wasn't bad at all. The 90% chance just meant it will precipitate. Didn't even get a quarter of an inch. It just drizzled and was foggy the whole day. Don't get me wrong, it was wet but I didn't even lose traction once and my tires are getting pretty worn out.

    Next time!
