Has anyone received more updates? From what I can tell they have been working 150’s to early 160’s for the past 8 months. Been radio silence with last update same old convo we had a few pages back. With more shop space it would be nice to know what their improved takt times and/or daily build rates (or Month+ in this case). Going to send an email and see if I can get an accurate production lead time per build etc for rough estimates here.

for anyone just placing an order, my experience:

    -Order 195
    -Order placed nov 2019.
-Original lead time provided when ordered, 8 months max. Date has pushed in three months cycles since June 2020. Last told Dec 2021.

I’m order 156 and I haven’t heard anything about an install date. I have quite a few of the added options so maybe that’s causing them to take longer.

Likely, as 158 was delivered a while back.

I've been down to see Phil and the drifter in person, since I live so close, and even with a date and time to come down and see them, he still barely had time to talk to me. i had a ton of questions that he seemed not interested in talking to me about. I guess I wasn't that important... I do like them but I like the Alu cab camper much better including that it will be sealed tight and many more pluses including that I'll be camping by February of "2022".!! Plus, If I picked up the phone right now and called TinyRigco, I could talk to Daniel right away...

Did you just do vinyl wrap? It looks like the lower half front of the overhang and the window at the cab are the raw aluminum.

It must be weird lighting. No vinyl - all powdercoat. I went all out on this thing.

    - slider cab window
    - powder coat top/bottom/roof l-tracks/ front hinges
    - lighting upper/lower
    - usb/ 12v power outlets
    - maxxair fan
    - insulation upper/lower
    - awning brackets driver/passenger/rear
    - 10” bed extension
    - 2 frontrunner slats w/ bamf 50mm risers

The shop had 2 other drifters that looked closed to completion. Nothing else close to done as those; lots of parts ready and waiting for assembly though. Didn’t see names/build numbers on the two I saw. Both were silver- one had windows on driver/passenger sides. The other had l-tracks on the driver side. They are still in the process of expanding the shop and really utilizing all the sq ft they have.

It took probably 2-3 hours for install. Camper was on the truck in position in about 10 min. The rest of the time was electrical/tent insulation installation/chit chat. Phil walked me through all the feautres and answered all my questions. I still had a pending balance upon arrival and Phil took care of cleaning up my invoice after I left! As of today I’m now fully paid lol.

I ‘m probably prematurely, but something to help keep the excitement high - Phil mentioned they are talking about offer exped duo mattresses sometime in the future....and they are woking on a bracket system so you can remove the camper similar to other drop in campers with camper jacks. If anyone has seen Phils full size nomad on his ram truck you know what I’m talking about. He has two maybe 6-8” vertical l-track on the driver/passenger sides that are intended for that purpose.

Here’s another photo outside in-n-out right before I crashed for 12hours lol. I’ll share more pics when I'm in Tahoe next week!

    It's DLX son!
I'd be excited if they could deliver more than one camper per month. I can bolt l track to the camper and buy a fucking air mattress myself.

    But camper looks great! Enjoy!

I agree, I don't give a shit about extra add-ons at this point I just want the damn thing, but it looks absolutely fantastic! Enjoy, and now you can start posting Drifter porn for us sad souls to daydream about until we get ours someday.

I do know someone picked up a few weeks ago. Went on a ford ranger. They could have some out getting powder coated, but I didn’t think to ask.
