Still think TITNC3: Return of the Iceberg was peak

What? Why? @TreeFortRichard taught us all a valuable lesson about selling covered calls on highly volatile stocks. The amount of profit he shorted himself on AMC trying to make a quick buck is why you don't do that. Buy those fuckers back now.

Gotcha. I thought about selling some covereds on BBIG. But I'll just stay the course I'm on. It runs when it runs. But I bet it runs next week.

 

I've been doing that for a long time. About every other month I go and trim my watch list. Most times there's at least ten symbols in there that I have no fucking idea what the company is. lol

 

Well you see, it’s gotta really run to hurt my covered calls, and that would really make my $3 calls print. So it’ll trade sideways until they all expire

Tried that with BBIG, said I’d buy in at 20. But you idiots kept talking about it until I actually believed it was cheap. Apparently it hadn’t had its final 50% off sale yet

It was cheap. Then it got cheaper. And cheaper. And cheaper. I didn't know big money was gonna push it way down so they could get it cheap. The good news is institutional ownership is up to 13%. So at least there's some big money bulls moving into the stock. Doubt they let it go much lower.

 

I’m ok holding for now. I’m up more on GTii than I am down on BBIG, so the stupidity is balanced in my favor at the moment.

 

I'm not. I'm also not super stressed about it. Eventually they will both go up. Then I can talk about how smart these dumb ass plays where. lol

 

@theesotericone I chatted with TD Ameritrade again right now just to confirm. I did 3 day trades today and can ignore my counter. The funds I made today will settle Monday and I can do it all over again.

 

Sweet. Just keep track of those settled funds.

 

What’s nice is I have an individual counter showing settled funds versus the portfolios total equity. And it will not let me buy if I don’t have the settled funds so it is not possible to get a good faith violation with options on that platform I believe.

Edit: Because I have margin turned off completely.

 

Just exercise your options when they go in the money and THEN watch the stock drop $4...pretty sweet move...
