I keep looking around. Never happy with a house already built. Keep going and checking out 7-15 acre pieces of property. So far no luck finding “the one”

Yeah, it’s hard to find the right one. I should probably do more of that, I keep looking at houses, and while I can find some that I like, prices are sky high right now.

I’m banking on a housing market crash while interest rates are low and swooping in on a deal. Build a barndominium and enjoy life

Another Saturday of home improvements planned for tomorrow. Going to get the ceiling above the living room re insulated with R30. Hoping that I can rearrange what little new(er) insulation is currently up there to get the kitchen done too. Then that task will be done.

I had a roof guy quote me $1300 to replace 20" of rotted decking on all sides of the chimney and re flash. Gonna shop around on that, have another guy coming monday for a second opinion.

So ready to be done in the attic. Cause then its time for the fun renovations.

Looks like those are off a T-100. They've got the "outtie" center cap. 4Runner caps are more flush.

    Very decent.

Those Tacoma wheels make me think of Star Wars.

Not my favorite looks-wise, but these wheels seem to be plentiful and often cheap. I think they're from 4th gen 4Runners though, so probably the same backspace as the newer Tacoma wheels. https://denver.craigslist.org/wto/d/englewood-set-of-17-toyota-wheels-rims/7421164457.html

    Won't any Toyota OE 17" have sub-optimal backspacing for a 1st gen?

+1 for the Tundra/Sequoia wheels, though. I like the look. I'd be after this set if I didn't just buy 5 new tires on 16s. https://denver.craigslist.org/wto/d/golden-1st-gen-tundra-wheels-and-all/7416885236.html

What causes a P03000 to show up for a second and then go away? Couple of times today…

I've actually started doing this ever since someone did it to me, because it fucked with my head lol. I made a turn without signaling and this dude threw his arm out the window with a big ol sarcastic thumbs up and the rest of my day was ruined wondering why it wasn't a middle finger. It's much more effective and doesn't trigger rage in some people = win/win

A friend of mine was recently in line at McDonalds drive-through placing an order. This is the usual merge of two lanes into one scene. You need an opening to pull forward away from the menu and order speaker.

So some car behind him starts blowing the horn and throws up a bird. So when he got to the window, he paid for their order. He said that probably cause more hurt and guilt than if he had turned around and flipped him off in return.
