They are bright, but the light "footprint" cuts off on the top. It is taking some getting used to, but I like them.

They cost me $205 shipped on eBay from gt_racers

Born - Glad to see that you installed these... There was only one bolt that was a pain - but it should have been a breeze... What did you think?

As for the cut off of the beam - I hear that they cut off on purpose to prevent the blinding of other drivers....

Glad to see that you like them so much!! They will turn heads for sure...

They are easy to install if you have the Eagle Eyes brand... most of the install is popping plastic tabs... I believe that all that was needed was a socket set... screw drivers... ummm... (it's been a while since I have done mine)... and that's it if I remember correctly.

FYI: They MAY fog (mine did - so don't freak out)- but that is the seal on the lights. I simply pushed them together some and it seemed to clear up over time. Haven't seen any on there lately.

Install was not too bad. Two bolts on top with a plastic retainer. A bolt on the bottom part of the housing that is easy to get off. Removing this bolt allows you to remove the trim piece that runs along the bottom of the headlight housing. The one bolt that is hard to acces is by the fender well. If you look at the new headlights you will see where it goes. I got under the front end by the foglights and removed two bolts that held on the fender well. This allowed me to move the fender well over enough to allow me to get to this last bolt easier, but it was still a pain.

10 mm socket, flat head screwdriver is all it takes.

Eagle eyez is direct plug and play with not having to mess with extra wiring or splicing

USMCBulldog, I am glad you saw this post and thanks for your original post. You gave me the confidence that I could do this myself. Being a new Tacoma owner for less than a month and a forum member for even less, I am thankful that I found this place.

I'm looking into these halos now too. They look great, but how does the angel eye part work? do you have to install another switch in your truck or is that like the parking lights.?

    It's the parking lights.
The cool thing about these is that they are plug n play...

These are plug and play. Make sure to get these with the 4 leds running along the bottom as opposed to the ones that run up and down. 3 plugs to connect and you got full function of the halos as parking lights.

05PreRunner post some pics when you get yours installed.

I am guessing the ones with the 3 leds running up and down are different as far as Plug and play.

I believe so. I was reading a thread where someone was trying to figure out how to wire the LEDs. With this one it is all done.
