TRD Pro Grille

I feel like that's a money grab, I do have the tss sensor though, so it won't work, I did see this one too.

 

TSS sensor is ok, it's the forward facing camera that won't work (for the panoramic view that comes with the advanced tech package)

I went with the OEM grille with black lettering and camera mount that comes with the TRD lift. I think it was around $130ish. Just had to give a vin number from a Pro they had on the lot. Then I purchased the OEM TSS garnish from the for sale section here. I also added a front camera with the Anytime harness and a flush mount camera I got from Amazon.

 

I have the Taco Garage grill and I'm super happy with it. Good build quality. No issues at all with the garnish, didn't have to recalibrate the TSS or anything.

 

You gave them a VIN off their own lot? LOL! Big brain move there.

 

Hahaha yup! It was more of an experiment to see if they would actually check the VIN. Even drove there in my Off Road to pick it up in person. Even the parts sales manager came out to ask about my experience with making the purchase online. They clearly DGAF.

I ordered my 2017 OR with a pro grille from my dealership. They were on back order so I got it like a month later and put it on myself.
From all the dealership comments I've seen around here, I'm super lucky and just have an awesome dealership.

 

Looking good! I have one of these in the mail. Seems to be the best "knock off" option for sure.

 

Same here. Went Taco Garage with garnish. Grill shipped supper fast well packaged and garnish install. Zero issues so far with TSS or anything else with grill and have had installed at least a month and half now. Very nice fit.

 

I have a pro grille for sale for $150 on the B/S/T thread, jus’ sayin’…

2 years 30k miles with mine, zero issues.

 

How does it put together? Individual letters with 3m tape? Or a single price that bolts on the center?
