So eyeballing this, if a 265/75/16 on a 16x8 +0 fits easy, a 265/70/17 on a 17x8.5 -10 should be pretty good shape too with maybe a little heat gun work but no CMC?

I had 265/70/17 with 17x8.5 -10 on my stock 2020 off road and it only rubbed when I had the mudguards on the front, I removed them and it was fine, no rub for daily driving.

Which tires? Minor or major rub, and do you think the 1" higher front end of a Pro would have alleviated it without removal of mud guards?

Falken Wildpeaks AT3 and the rub was bad going on angled driveways, etc. From what I've read, lift won't matter so i think it would still rub with mud guards.

@WrecklessAbandon has DB wheels and I have an MGM 3rd gen. Seeing them side by side, they will not clash at all. IMO, they'll look sexy as hell. Some people may consider them too matchy matchy...

@WrecklessAbandon let me try on your wheels for a week, for science! ;)

Haha I meant the Volks. Me guessing it's not.
Prob the matte black. CB is my #2 fave color, behind cement, of course.

Got it. I’m running a 17x9 -38. Looks like I’ll need to do some trimming

Go off-road and flex your suspension. They will rub.
