Tim, what's the biggest lights you can fit between the top plate and center light hoop?

well with the light hoops i'm putting on now there is about 10" from the top plate to the bottom of the light hoop if i remember correctly. i'd have to measure it later if you need an exact number. what were you looking to put on

I'm looking at getting the 9" HIDs from the group buy section. Wondering if two of them could fit up there.

    Small lift and a topper!
Just thought I'd throw this picture up - my Tacoma with the elite bumper (and new decals!) up at the North Park yurts in Colorado - the morning after this photo I slogged up to 11,000 feet to get some killer backcountry skiing in with my dad.

I recently added the KC Hilites, and a custom license plate bracket mounted in the front receiver (which was a personal mod to the bumper). The bracket is just a chunk of 2" square tube with a hole drilled in it and a piece of flat stock welded on. Makes it easy to pull off for winching.

The BudBuilt skid required some modification to fit - the front bolt positions still lined up, but the lip of the skid plate stuck out too far - it interfered with the bottom edge of the bumper. A quick pass with the plasma cutter trimmed about .75" off the front edge of the skid, and allowed it to bolt up without further complaint.

Damn. Glad to hear he is ok. That's awesome that these bumpers can take that big of a hit. I'm guessing it just shoved the bumper back and crushed everything behind it?
