I think I was trapped behind the same calls! But since the volatility was so nuts I just bit the bullet and took a “loss” and was able to roll out and up that more than paid for the money I had to put in. Paid like $250 to roll up by $6 on the strike the first time and then paid that again to roll up by $10. And then spent the last however many months rolling out a week at a time for a couple percent credit per week. Finally on this dip I was able to let the contracts expire worthless. Certainly took a while lol


Been a while since I popped in here…. Has GME mooned yet?

there’s a Toyota dealer in my home town that has absolutely 0 vehicles on the lot. Anything they get in pretty much goes immediately, new or used.

 

That’s a lot of shares now... but look at that cost basis. And in June most of it will will be long-term because of the $5 calls and once the dividend starts paying...DRIP

Swung by our local Toyota today on the way out from REI. They had 4 Tacomas, all pre-owned, all $40k or more.

Used Toyota prices are nuts right now. When we bought the Corolla HB I got a trade in quote from the dealer just for shits and giggles. It was for the wife's 2009 4Runner that we bought in 2018 for $11K. It had 192K when we bought it and has 220K now. The dealer gave me a quote of $14K. lol

 

Are you referring to the vertical volume by price indicator? E-Tarde calls that volume profile. I've never really used it and much prefer VWAP.

 

I have an offer I made to my dealership they haven't entertained yet. My '20 tacoma with 5k miles for a new current gen trd pro tundra. I was hoping at some point they'd get desperate enough to have used trucks on the lot they'd give me a free half ton, but no luck yet.

 

It’s more the indicator to see where the support levels are on the price levels. I use vwap already.
