As you can see my seats are a little worse for wear but they are 14 years old. They also get pretty uncomfortable when driving more than two hours. If you guys have any suggestions please share! I would rather not do something like katskinz or a seat cover though.

I think some non-fixed back race seats would be cool if they aren't too uncomfortable but I've got no experience with them so please share if you do!

You can order the factory cloth seat covers but they pricey. Wet okole makes a nice seat cover $279ish . I am looking at the fitted coverkings $159ish. I have dog and i just need something bettter then cloth.

I would talk to upholstery shop about new seat buns, and see what is out there, and what you'd like.....softer, firmer, taller, shorter. Whatever you want comfort wise. Have shop install the buns and see if they will install covers you buy......wet okes, leather, etc.again whatever cover surface material you want.

My 2015 Drivers seat is starting to show wear in that area after 100k, but it's not showing foam yet...I was planning on finding a solution after the holidays.

This is the only seat I’ve ever had show this much wear at 100k, so it’s a little frustrating.

For what it's worth, I had the same issue and replaced my covers with Katzkins and I absolutely love them, but the driver seat cushion was visibly pretty broken down. The following year I ordered an OEM replacement seat cushion from a dealership for something like $159...beyond appearance and just a small noticeable amount more plush, it didn't make that much difference. All that to be said, while I love my katzkins and am "happy enough" with the results, don't let anyone tell you that doing anything along the lines of both of these things is going to be good as new. Those bottom springs likely have alot of wear and it makes more difference than I thought. I'm interested to hear what others who have to say about alternatives. Also, fuck wet okole - biggest waste of money and simply not a very logical material to use for a seat cover. Wet suit material simply isn't made for daily wear and tear in varied conditions...and they're hot and not cheap...but that's just my axe to grind.

I had similar wear and bought seats from a newer model year truck with low miles from a junk yard. Seat was in perfect condition and I'm happy with it. As for comfort on long drives, get the front risers for the seats. They work excellent

I have experience with aftermarket recliner racing type seats. Specifically, a set of Recaro folding back sport seats, and they're very uncomfortable compared to stock seats.

Another thing to consider is if you current seats have side airbags. Don't want to render them useless. I would get with a quality upholstery shop and ha have them repaired. That way you can add support where needed i.e. lumbar.

I think I paid $200 for a set of factory take offs when someone put leather in. They had ~10k miles.
