@ahspurlock when you got time for a leaf pack install after the holidays?! Also why do we also end up missing my truck when it’s gonna be fucking cold?

 

Wife and I will be in Chucktown in Jan. If there is any interest we can go grab some food and talk shit about each other.

 

I'm hoping to have time soon . I haven't been able to do any side work since the baby plus she works nights so I watch him on the weekends while she sleeps lol

Yea it has been for sure . Ok that's a Friday and Saturday I might be able to make something happen one of those days but it comes down to the wife's schedule

 

In lieu of a Christmas party, my work handed out gift cards instead. Decided to spend it all at Ol Timey meat market. Picked up this bad boy. Letting it come to room temp then doing a reverse sear on my charcoal grill. Cooking at 250° till it hits about 120° internal, then cranking up the grill to 500° to sear both sides. Hopefully I don't screw it up. Lol

 

Came out perfect! Juicy, tender and delicious.

 

We are buying a house that was being built… it’s done now. Just waiting for them to get their ducks in a row so we can close. Been non stop delays. We were supposed to close Oct 29th originally

 

Holy shit . I'd be telling them to compensate a little bit for the massive inconvenience

Dang. My buddy in the army just bought a house on that same road. He had the same problems. His house and the house plans didn’t match… trim, bricks, windows etc missing. He got it all worked out now and is moving in.

 

Easy for the builder, there's plenty of other people that would probably pay more for it.

 

Going back to work on the 17th of Jan

We closed last night. Moved the camper over today. Just waiting on the movers to bring our stuff
