Yes, it's part of the toyota lift kit. Currently every part of the truck is factory or dealer installed.

This was our previous 4x4 in the first month of ownership, sticker was around the same as the Pro that's on the way next. Kids got muddy inside, had a blast and a bunch of laughs.

To all you 2022 owners, how is the quality since all 2022 Tacomas are now coming out of Guanajuato Mexican instead of Texas?

Mine is a 21. Made in Mexico. Made just the same as a US made truck. Why would there be a difference in quality? Same company. Same standards.

Some factories do better than others including Toyota assembly plants.

The only difference is the cheap labor probably because no Unions down there to push for higher rates like in the U.S and Canada.

Its a damn fine looking truck..even with the lift and stock wheels and tires...I'll say it again,I wish we could get it in an auto.

I have the same - the base SR is a fine truck. Heated seats, AC, Cruise, power windows. That is all I need. You will be very happy.

I thought most of these trucks were auto? I felt like I had to go out of my way to get a manual. I was looking to purchase used but almost no manuals were available while many similar Trucks were available in auto

stock tires won't be staying long... keeping stock rims though cause aftermarket rims usually suck...

To the best of my knowledge the Sport Short Box only comes in a MT.

I read an article a while back about auto workers wages....
    Mexico $8/hr
    Usa $20/hr

Easy to see why they set up shop in Mexico.

So they can pass those savings on to us...lol

I'm thinking of ordering a 2022 next week. I have a 2021 Off Road now and like most things about it. My biggest issue is the headlights. With poor night vision to start, these lights are not adequate. Not bad, but not great. So I would need to up to the Pro. With used truck prices the way they are, hoping a decent trade in and s short(ish) wait will help me make a decision to move up. I didn't have much of a choice when I bought this one May. Will see what the local dealer has to say on tuesday.

It really sucks that in Canada we can't upgrade to factory LED headlights like our friends to the south. Only option here are the Limited & Pro.

In the interim have you checked out @crashnburn80 excellent headlight thread? https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/3rd-gen-hid-vs-led-vs-halogen-h11-projector-headlights.589465/

As an older driver I'm finding the factory Halogens to be less than ideal. Haven't tried any of their recommendations yet tho.
