Any piece of advice/ tips is more than welcome...

The rear shocks are actually for the FJ because they are a bit longer and I have all the necessary hardware.

As for the leafs, I decided to hold out a week until i get my wheels and tires. I'll just level her out till that then. I figured I'd do a leaf pack, adjust the COs, and put the new wheels on at the same time....

    Sound like a decent plan?

Not to thread jack but I know that for the FOX c/o's 1/2" of thread showing doesnt mean a 1" lift...does anyone know the correlation? I am looking to get 1/2" from the coilovers so how much preload is that? Also zero lift = the first collar flush with the top of the threads?

    A few bolts are different.
All depends on the specific truck. For instance your truck is a 2.7l preRunner. The preload would be different for a truck like yours but with the 4.0 or 2.7L and 4x4 etc....

Ok so I guess my next question is who has Fox c/o's installed and what preload do they have and what lift did they get from it?

And yes I do realize that I am lighter so similar preload will give me more lift :)

And OP I will soon be running the same setup in front :D Cannot wait to feel the ride difference! Also did you get the extended travel or regular?

If they are the extended you should be pulling between 9.5"-10" of travel :D I might sell my Fox c/o's and save up the difference for the extended travel. I should be able to sell mine for pretty good because they are newly rebuilt, perfect and ready for action!

It doesn't specify on the package it came in, but the website mentioned needing aftermarket UCAs for extended travel...so im kinda unsure now.

here are the specs: Ext. 22.54 Col: 17.58

Sway bar should stay same place just have to remove the mounting brackets in order to mount the resi then reinstall.

Ok cool. I'm sure I'll be able to answer most of these questions once I have her on jacks and the wheels off.

Stupid question. When you preload these do you measure off the top collar with thread showing or do you measure the amount of thread from where the spring sits?

I'm pretty sure everyone's measuring from the top of the collar.

Shit didn't know that. Id assume that you'd measure from the one that's directly on the spring. Do the fox's have a screw in the collar that you tighten down to lock?
