Though Toyota hasn't made the Hilux in Japan in decades. If the Chicken Tax didn't exist, our trucks would likely come from @Thyces' motherland.

TRD isn't a model though. The equivalent at Ford would be SVT. Imagine if Toyota named an SUV Supra-X or Supra-XT

At least the Compact Cruiser has front recovery hooks, unlike the Tundra TRD Pro!

I bet the whole vehicle is just a plastic mockup rolling on Toyo R/Ts. The headlights are about as real as those in Nascar...

Did you notice the difference in taste with the beef steaks down there vs in Canukland?

I did, and noticed it's mostly long horn cattle down there, unless dairy.

One word of advice, (well maybe a paragraph),

Unless you are a local, do not eat the tacos from the local vendors or "food trucks".

Lol and that poor gas station attendant thought we were giving him a $50 tip cause he gave us the key so fast,

I can relate the last part, except there was no gas stations around, oh sweet nature…
