This is the first time I've ever seen Santa ride in the bucket!

 

I didn't want to disrupt the firetruck'a route, so I stayed in the customer's driveway until it had gone; Unsurprisingly, the residents who came out to take pictures of Santa on the firetruck also wanted pictures of my truck...

 

Of course, a bunch of people in their 50s and 60s are going to think that a pickup truck covered in Christmas lights is one of the coolest things ever (it impresses people all ages!); I was all too happy to stay and chat while they took pictures...

This one woman had an 11-year old English Cream Retriever named Jamison, who was of course very friendly; In case anybody doesn't know, an English Cream is just like a Golden Retriever except it's white. Porter's buddy Clover from across the street is an English Cream Retriever.

 

After dropping off one order in Perkasie earlier that night, I noticed that the bulb in the left foglight seemed a bit off-kilter and was not pushed all the way through the bezel; I attempted pop it back into place and ended up smashing the bulb. Amazingly enough, the light stayed on for a bit after this, but the foglight assembly was filling up with smoke so I freaked out and shut off the lights. Now, the left light obviously will not work, and I'm probably just going to end up replacing them both anyone; They're very cheap fog lights that I bought on Amazon as part of a kit, primarily for the wiring harness with the intention of upgrading to superior foglights later. I've been putting it off and putting it off, but now that one of them is literally broken I have an excuse!

 

I saw this while Dashing today; Appears to be someone attempting to live in a van on a budget...

 

Insultingly low payouts today; The highest one I've gotten so far was $7.25 and I unassigned it because it appeared to be a ghost kitchen inside BJ's Wholesale Club...

 

What's going on is that all of the retail workers in Warrington Township are going on lunch break, and they don't tip...

 

Sometimes the orders with initially low base payouts end up tipping in cash or raising the tip later, but if it's a standalone order for less than $7, I will not take it; I will take a $4.50 order if it's lumped in with a larger order, depending on how far it is going from the restaurant, but I will NEVER accept it if it's below that because it's just insulting at that point!

 

Cheap pricks.

 

Strange..I know long ago when I worked in fast food we would occasionally lock the dining room up early if we were slammed and short staffed.

Wonder if it's a transporter. Look at the license plate.

Sometimes you get really random tip amounts...

 

This isn't InstaCart, it's DoorDash! I did not sign up to go grocery shopping, so yeah, I declined this one...

 

I got two orders from an Auntie Anne's stand at the Willow Grove Mall; Here, we see a woman making pigs in blankets...

 

One of the orders went into the very outskirts of Philly, specifically the Germantown neighborhood, and that's where I saw this Soviet-era relic parked on a residential street...

I know I said I wouldn't Dash in Philly, but this was Germantown; It's not everyday you see a car with a 2-stroke 2-cylinder engine, that was built in a failed communist country that no longer exists, so I stopped to take some pictures...

 

Unlike the 1985ish Rolls-Royce I spotted in a sketchy neighborhood in Philly last February, the Trabant was parked in an upscale neighborhood, and I didn't feel the least bit unsafe getting out of the truck to take pictures!

 

These cars were supposed to be no-frills transportation for East Germans and nothing more, so I am 99% sure they didn't even have a basic AM radio originally; The current owner of this car has installed a CD player, and at least two 6x9 speakers (located in the back; I couldn't see the front ones if there were any)...
