    If these are compatible with the URD UCON and 3* cam gears (currently not installed but in the long term plans.) and won't cause any valve interference conditions I'm interested assuming round 2 GB is still open.

    Always happy to get more MPG and if power comes with it then even better.

    Is it recommend to do a timing chain refresher when doing these?

    I don't have any other issues but my truck is 11 years old with 255k and the chain has to my knowledge and the previous owners records never been done.

    So far the folks that have installed have not made any changes besides the already tuned (also were running 3 degree cam gears) but tunning HP tuned software.

    Well if there's still space and time on the GB and it's not going to blow my motor up I'll be a guinea pig.

    I'm sure my factories are old and tired.

    I had *one* VVT-i code pop up about a year ago when I was a little over due for an oil change but after an oil change and a battery disconnect ECU reset it hasn't come back, some threads I found suggested if the code was consistent or returned it may indicate a worn chain and guide, was planning on replacing all that when I did cam gears at some point just for good measure but haven't had any indication that it needs done now.

    I replaced my VVT-i solenoid pre screens shortly after that just to check them out but they were clean and free of sludge carbon or debris.

    255k as of this evening.

    I am slightly modified (custom intake and DT long tube headers TRD cat back exhaust) and heavy while still on stock gears.

    Just did injectors a few months ago had them flow matched and cleaned by Witch Hunter Performance but still stock flow.
