I'm gonna guess the clunking is coming from the slip joint on the driveshaft, behind the carrier bearing. Sadly it's buried under the bellows, requiring its removal to lubricate.

Not impossible, but not a 5 minute fix either.

This just isn’t fair!! I’m sitting on my couch all comfy drinking hot chocolate and have to look at this. J/k. The hood is up so I assume you aren’t running the motor. I hope you are warm enough. I learned the hard way to have a warm coat and blanket in the cab. I blew a coolant hose out in the boonies and it took them 3 hours to get to me. I thought I was going to freeze to death.
