Has anyone used Royal Purple Synthetic Oil on their engine, tranny, rear differential, and were there any benifits?

Many people are running Royal Purple in their trucks, and the consensus is they like it. :)

i've ran royal purple in the engine since i bought it.. it's alot cleaner when i change it every 5000 miles.. only down side is that it costs about 60 to 70 a oil change depending on what filter you get ha ha

I've been running Royal Purple in my ProbeGT for years and plan on switching the Taco over soon. I've never had a problem and it keeps the internals looking good. Big improvement from using your standard Dino oil.

I want to try it too. I'm convinced that really any major brand of synthetic is better than dino oil.

I mean even just looking at how if flow when cold. It's like corn syrup, whereas synthetic just flows.

I used their max gear oil in my rear dif for about a week. My LSD didn't like it so I changed to conventional oil with a tube of friction modifier, no problems since.

just changed out diffs and transfer two weeks ago with Royal P. haven't noticed any real benefits other than peace of mind and not having to worry about it for a long time.

You aren't the only one that has had issues, so I'm reiterating, for all the TRD sports, don't use synthetic in your rear differential.

i have been using mobil1 and pennzoil platinum for a good while, but havent heard anything bad about rp. if fact, a buddy bought a used ford explorer a good while back, and first oil change....he switched to rp. he said it ran way smoother, then when he did the next oil change......he said all kinds of crud came out with the oil.............the rp really cleand the internals of that motor pretty good.:)
