Fluffy ass playing with sniffles. The new rat, he seems to have adopted it as a friend. So, now it is like a live Tom and Jerry around here. Not to mention, the 18 inch bearded dragon pulled a David Copperfield.

This same thing happened to suki a few years back. Non stop puking and she just looked like she felt like hell. Vet thought intestinal obstruction and ultimately had surgery. Vet took multiple biopsies of the intestine and all came back showing IBD. Same with IBS for people but in animals they call it a disease and not syndrome. It was a horribly scary experience for us. Hope there’s a way they can test for it without doing surgery. Still to this day she had flare ups and we have to give her steroids.
Hope you don’t have to go through this!!!

That was my reaction when we first saw her after surgery. Vet mentioned little incisions but that was on just the intestine. He said they basically had to pull everything out for the surgery. We felt horrible for doing that to her and I stayed by her side nonstop for 3 days. Imagine my relief when she finally took a little tiny poop after a few days.

Man... I hope it's doesn't come to that, she seems to being doing a hell of a lot better today. Shes eating, drinking and holding it down but still a little lethargic/clingy. I got her to play a tad today too, which calmed my nerves a bit. If she does vomit again (which she hasn't) we're going back ASAP.

I'm glad to hear suki is doing better though. That's one hell of an ordeal my friend.

Yeah it was an absolute nerve racking experience. Plus we were so guilt ridden afterward. I know our vet did what was in sukis best interest though. I hope she’s just got some kind of weird bug that she’s just working through her system. Did your vet do any blood work?
Fingers crossed that she wakes up tomorrow back to her normal self. I certainly feel for you and I hope I didn’t give you any added stress sharing our experience with Suki. definitely keep us posted with how she’s doing.

I bet. Not a fun situation. Ya hopefully it's just bug, we think see got into something while we were sleeping. Which is annoying because we're super vigilant when it comes putting away any harmful things. I guess we'll never know... Which is causing us to stay on edge.

Ya they did some blood work during the triage and they said it was excellent. And no you didn't add any stress, I want to know others similar experiences. It help us know what to expect in uncharted territory.

    Will do, thanks Jason:thumbsup:

Thanks Rick! Much appreciated. I think we're doing alright. She's doing better by the hour and she's almost back to acting like a weirdo again. Hopefully it stays that way.

Very positive outcome!! Thanks for the update. It’s hard to hear about members pet problems, but it helps to know we all care.
