Any glass cutters in here?

They are the manufacturer. I was on the phone for probably a total of 4 hours for this stupid thing and they definitely do not sell it separately. It's ridiculous.

Tried that too, there's actually one for sale but it's got a giant crack and they still want like 50 bucks...crazy

 

Wet sanding will be faster than dry sanding.

If you lived closer I could cut that in 2 minutes. I machine glass for a living.

I'm in no rush whatsoever, but I'm positive they would break during shipping, I have three of them. And they were only like 15 bucks each so I'm sure the shipping will be much more than they are worth. Truly appreciate it though

 

One question though, if I end up trying the Dremel which bit should I use? Would a regular sanding bit work, or create too much toxic dust?

 

Never used one to be honest. I would’ve put it to a diamond wheel grinder that has a synthetic coolant running on it.

 

They should have a bit for glass but if you don’t have one start with a sander. A carbide bit would probably work better.

 

Tempered glass is funny.
Ive nicked one with a razor knife while removing a rear window once and it shattered. And I've also ran over a tempered car door glass with the curve up, after it fell of the back of my glass truck and it was unscathed.

 

I don't think this is tempered, just some real junk glass that feels super thin and seems to chip at even the slightest touch

I don’t think it’s tempered glass either. Just remember to wear safety glasses.
