I’ve modded a little bit too. LCG battery tray, hex adapter wheel spacers, shock mounts and body mounts to the hard plastic and I’ve added the brass weights the the wheel hubs plus went to 1.9” general grabber x3 tires with method wheels and a reef 555 servo and aluminum servo horn. I’ve got a hobby wing ESC ready if the reedy oem ESC goes out anytime. In all honesty the traxxas is the better built RTR. The Trx4 is built like a tank just like our rustler 4x4 is. The scaling of the element rc knight runner is unreal though and it’s a very capable crawler itself especially with a few mods.

Working on the drawer for the camp chef grill. The drawer is gonna be 30x19x6.5
Ran out of time today but mounted the fridge slide to the top for now with the fridge. When it's all done and warm, it'll get painted with bed liner. 20211220_125205.jpg

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
Well you did it the right way and did the better functioning mods. Mine are just visual. Yea the scaling is off a bit so I actually went with 1.9 and smaller tires. My 3d printed Minime is about as close to scale as I can get but it's just a working display. Lol

Just installed the Toyota tailgate lock. I ordered it through a local Toyota dealership parts center a few weeks ago when they had a 20% discount and free shipping. I got it for 116 doll hairs. It was plug and play. Took about an hour and some.

Got a few things taken care of today
    • Bakflip G2 Tonneau Cover
    • OEM Tailgate Lock
    • Spotter Mirrors
    • Blackout emblem overlays
    • Tacoma Lifestyle TRD Pro Grill
    • Blackout Sequential Mirror Turn Signals
    • MESO Headlight Trim
    • Took off TRD graphic
The headlight piece was the biggest PITA with having to drop the bumper. I did end up breaking one of the clips on the wheel flair but everything went back together solid. More to come tomorrow

I wasn't expecting to want such things, but since I got a midnight black truck with black emblems I find that I'm looking more and more at going black on black on black. I might have to pick up those turn signals at some point, they look sharp. Already got the tint for the headlights and tail lights but have to wait until it warms up to apply it.
