    4 run, 2 don't
I'm a bit redundant; I have tool sets that stay home.

Then I have my trail sets; one for the Tacoma and one I just put together for the 4Runner.

I'd love to keep the M18 impact at home and keep an M12 impact with the trail set, that way I don't ever have to take from one tool set to bring to another.

The M18 was originally purchased for a Tacoma I no longer have...I guess the M12 could work for the 4Runner now as there aren't many areas that need much torque to undo.

its good, a 3 or 4 aH battery will top off 4 wheels a few times. Not great for airing up after a trail run, it takes too long, and drains too much battery for that much work. Its a bit loud, but thats a minor con.

I mostly use it to top off the truck and my wife's subaru's tires as needed, instead of stopping at the gas station air pumps.

Overall I'd say its worth the price.

Looks like you answered your own question. Use the 3/8s because it's light and small and fits in tight spaces. Use the high torque for stuff that is too tight for the stubby.

I have the stubby 3/8 m12 and the mid torque M18 and use both daily. I actually need to get the high torque as well one of these days, and probably grab the new mid torque 1/2" that's stubby now as well.

As a side note, I like my Milwaukee power tools, but I've broken so many of their hands tools that I won't buy them any more. Also have a lot of issues with their batteries coming loose; especially the M12.

I hate their drill bits especially. Who attached a 1/2" bit to a 1/4" quick connect?! First time you use it for anything other than wood, it bends or breaks. Their pry bars don't like to pry either... Snapped the end off of 3 now. Replaced with snapon.

Any way, sorry for the little rant

I tossed, literally a half-dozen or more M12 chargers into the donation pile for our club's swap meet next fall; if we're lucky we might get $5 each...

I have had decent luck with a few things, but their side-cutters are definitely garbage. Also not a huge fan of their tape measure.

Seems like prices have increased on all Packouts. Been looking at the new 2-Drawers ($145-$149) and 3-Drawers Packouts ($164). Too damn expensive!

Bday gifts from the wife. She actually bought an M18 Sawzall first, but then heard me talking about a Hackzall with a friend. Friend said Hackzall over Sawzall, so wife exchanged it. Kind of hoped for the fuel, but am happy regardless.
