    I bought mine a long time ago. Just now getting around to try to install

    I have 2nd gen. I don’t have any horn beeper or anything like instructions. Just have this plastic conduit with a grommet holding it. All I can figure is I need to pop this out to use that hole for install

    is that correct

    @micah323 apologies for the delay in getting back to you on here - haven't been keeping up on here as I should be.

    You are correct in your assessment if you haven't already determined that! Once you remove that circled wire loom clip, the bracket will bolt in that area.

    Winch was going off randomly in the neighborhood, I’m pretty sure due to some other signal activating its wireless capabilities. Just ordered this for quick on and off and was wondering why I didn’t set it up like this to begin with.

    Yeah definitely concerning but luckily it wasn’t stuck on until disconnected, would just blip for 1-3 seconds and then go off. So I am pretty sure it’s from something else’s remote. Need to go out in the woods this weekend and find out

    Crossing my fingers for you… I’ve seen something similar happen with a wireless auxiliary power controller (Trigger in specific), so you’re likely on the money.

    One slight change since the last batch - my previous guy who did my powder coating has since dropped out of the business so I had to locate a new one. Brackets still come powdercoated black but it is now more of a satin black than a matte black. Quality is phenomenal!
