    Removed ashtray for weight reduction.
Couldn't mount a fire extinguisher inside my single cab so I mounted it outside.....
IDK, it might look silly out there.
Has anyone mounted inside the cab somewhere, I'd like to see what and how you mounted it. Thanks!

    4 run, 2 don't
I'd just let the truck burn, unless the fire extinguisher is for something else, then it could prove useful if you're parked right nearby said fire.

We all know a tiny extinguisher won't do much to a fuel rich fire. That's why they call it a pisser.

A 1.75" hose with a combination nozzle and 150psi with class A foam will fix that issue

It was a fun project to throw together. Haven't needed it yet, for myself or anyone else.

This is a more expensive solution, but has several benefits over a traditional extinguisher:
    • smaller
    • lighter
    • longer shelf life
    • significantly longer discharge time
    • significantly easier cleanup
    Mount it just about anywhere.

Let me just say this, If you Don't have a 5 or 10Lb fire extinguisher on board you might as well just walk away on not even pull the pin. Those silly little 2Lb that your buying aren't worth the money unless you are parked right outside the Apparatus Floor. By the Big Red Truck gets to you and you have dumped that silly little 2Lb extinguisher your truck is a insurance problem now. Spend The Money And Buy A Real Fire Extinguisher and give yourself a fighting chance.

Might buy one of those aerosol fire extinguisher cans. Not enough room behind my seat for bigger. Having a truck bed caddy for a bigger one is cool. Not a lot of Taco engine fires discussed here, but having a good sized extinguisher might save some other motorists life!

Yep.... That's why we called those tiny extinguisher a pisser and a joke. Fire combine with petroleum and easy access to oxygen spread like no tomorrow

That thing is awesome, never heard of that- expensive is the one downfall

You Are Exactly Right, They are going to pull the pin and get one good shot and watch their truck burn until The Big Red Truck Pulls Up just because they didn't spend money the money and but an extinguisher that might have handled the job.

Guys, we aren’t first responders, at least not me. Every truck should have one tho, I suppose. A big extinguisher is a bit over the top tho.

    Here to measure dicks dude?

Camp/live in the woods, bring stuff to stop fires.

I will say I’m learning stuff just reading- my brother’s a firefighter, he never said much to me about little bc fire extinguishers not doing much to stop engine fires. Now I know
