What have you bought in the last 48 hours gun related?

When my house was burglarized many years ago. They took everything but the safe and its by no means a fancy safe. Figured it would slow them down too much, i suppose. So any safe is better than no safe. And some kinda door alarm or real monitored alarm. Believe at the time, i just had a simple siren or might not have had one at all. Either way, they were in a hurry and left it and the contents.

 

Also, when i was a probation/parole officers, the thief's i supervised would tell me that they would always pass a house that had a security sign or one with a camera and move on to the next.

 

I do have a monitored alarm system and a sign posted, also an 80lb German shepherd. If all that fails, then there’s now one more deterrent (the safe).

Having a noisy dog is a big must.

 

He puts on a good show, hopefully no one tests him because he’s a coward lol.

 

Mine will raise a 100 yards of hell. Never been in the situation to see if She will bite. My Daughters Shepard will bite She answers the with her teeth out

Mine is super chill and is amazing with my kids.

 

My last dog was a Shepard/chow mix. super chill, 80 lbs with big head. loved people. Scared of kids....
My current is 50 lbs of crazy in the head cattle dog. Goes crazy when someone comes in the driveway or to the door. hears a text message sound and will get up and leave the room. Only kids he really cares for are mine. And takes a solid 3 days to get to know someone to where he's okay with being around them. He will finally warm up to you and then the next morning he will have forgotten who you are and bark at you when you come down the stairs if you stay over night....He's a nut. We got him as a rescue at 3 years old and have had him for about 4 years. I don't think he's right in the head.

 

Monitored security system with 2x signs and window stickers, 5x 4K cameras with color night vision, a locked 6 foot security fence covering the back. 3x safes, 3x RFID access door safes ...... and I live at the top of a steep driveway and I work from home .... the cameras trip and warn on motion, giving me time to access a ready door safe if required.

I had a 60# Sharpei mix rescue that in her prime my friend PTB's retired Police dog would give a wide berth when she was riled up. Scarry and silent, did not lock the house. She happily lived to 19

 

They do say the dog resembles the owner lol
