    I really like that horn. Been thinking of going in that direction, but the stock horns have visibly surprised the clueless. Air horns do a much better job though.

    That's a pretty good location for the tank. Easy for wiring if I am not mounting the compressor.

    Filling tires -> ARB
    Air Horn -> Viar ( Air horns are obnoxious at 150psi)
    that thing up there rattled the glasses on my face and kept my ears ringing for 2 days from just one test at 150psi. (I run it at 90 now so I can still scare people but not get myself a ticket from a cop 10 miles away)

    There is a LOT of room in the front of the rad, and easy to get to because the grill comes out so easily and lots of extra already threaded holes and stamped holes to bilt things to.

    A surprising amount of space. There are times when I think that they could have done a better job shortening the front overhang. I can't argue with the excellent results that we see in collisions though.

    This dude at a junk yard said I can have one of these tanks for free. Think I could use it with an arb twin?

    Yep no problem,
    but if you can, take a peek in one of the holes with a flashlight to make sure they are not all rusty inside, don't want it to burst (doubt it but still possible).

    We used to make our own bumpers from 4x6 steel and weld caps on the ends and use the bumper as a tank. Worked great however bumpers have changed a bit.

    Yeah. Some friends had bumper / slider tanks. That would be an easy route to a low volume tank. And, I still need some sliders . . .

    The trouble with using your sliders for air storage is how you drain them. If they are steel bumpers, you pretty much have to drain them to stop them from rusting from the inside out. If they are aluminum, you still want to drain them so you don't end up with nothing but water sloshing around. You need a drain plug at the low point of the slider, which is also the point that is going to make contact with rocks first and either get ripped off or deformed.

    Tube bumpers work well, and you'd be surprised just how much volume they can have.
