2020 Tacoma OR. Did the LED upgrade for brights and the difference was amazing. Last night I put LEDs into the projectors H11 diode dynamics), and all I got was a blurry mess. I’m guessing it’s an issue with the projector glass needing a different bulb? Any thoughts?

I upgraded all of my bulbs to LED and didn’t have such an issue. However, my truck is also a 2016 (built in 2015) so perhaps that’s why.

Probably the brights just look better to the driver because of all the scattered light near the vehicle and projection and intensity are not good.

    Hello,
I upgraded the lights on the interior of my Tacoma and purchased a set from Yotaverse, they told me they were delivered today along with something else i ordered.
Id watch out because i received bulbs but they came from ebay and in the packaging the receipt was $ 12.99 for the bulbs and Yotaverse is charging 29.99 so they are price gouging people watch out.

So i contacted Yotaverse, and showed them their receipt in the package of bulbs and they had no idea what to say and refunded me half the price of the bulbs. Guess the guy admitted to over charging ooops on their part.

Flashing is the worst and dumbest thing you can do now days. Just drive. It sucks, they suck, but flashing is like saying "I'm blind so you should be too and let's hope we don't collide in our mutual blindness". Plus, road rage and all... Just not worth it.

That is how those sites operate. Plain and simple. They get it from Amazon or something and charge you more.

Howdy all, I watched the install video from Diode Dynamics, and it was obvious that I had not clocked the H11's in the right position - thus, scattered and diffuse light. The DD's are unidirectional, as opposed to my high beam LED's (Xenon Pro) which has LED's the full circumference of the bulb. I couldn't fit the Xenon Pro's, because the bulb base was too large to get into the slots without removing the lights. (live and learn)....read forums.

Happy it worked out for you. They are great lights as well as the DDs.

You need to consider the projector is designed for halogen bulbs. I put in LED's and while they were not horrible, they were not great. I got a much better result with HID's.

This is why I only buy VLEDS or Diode Dynamics. You pay more, but get quality and customer service in return.

I’m gonna have to agree with you on this. While the DD’s are better than the yellow stock garbage…I’m not exactly impressed with them. Weird pattern IMHO, and not really “projecting” as far as I had thought.
