    Working on cars since 1974. Seen this happen a few times. Sometimes the simplest things cause a little grief. Now the new mod will be low pad indicator skid plates.

    I looked at the HF press again and it said it has a working distance of 2" to 4". Will that be enough to do the bushings?

    No you have to take the radio out and drill a couple holes but it is super strong. The HD is held in by 2 screws in the top and 3 on each side. I messed up my holes so they only have 2 on each side but still never moved an inch.
