Mouse nest built over the HVAC air inlet. The white piece at the bottom is the cabin filter.

    I like to think of it like this;
You spent $50,000 on a truck and you're gonna let a cheaper $20 piece of gear rescue you?

I saw the soft shackle at princes auto - looking at it, i did not trust it to be used more than once or twice. Its proper nylon woven into the shape of a soft shackle. How tough it actually is beyond me. But i would rather cut my winch line and make one than to trust the PA one...

@ODSC1 i have a video idea. Lets test out every princes auto recovery part and see what happens

If your talking destructive testing, I'm in!

Then there's cb comms antenna shootouts, complete with the sciency gear for measuring gains and radiation patterns.

Yep, mouse traps all around my truck. Our trucks are yummy, if it’s not salt and rust then it’s a mouse to kill it.

Says a lot about the effectiveness of the Fram CF10374 cabin filter. Mouse nest has been there for potentially a year (since I last replaced the filter). No smells at all in the cabin thanks to the activated carbon and baking soda.
I spray rodent repellent in the engine bay every month or after every wheeling trip: https://www.lowes.ca/product/repellents/tomcat-09-lb-rodent-repellent-779857

However, I can't spray around the blower intake because of the teak tree smell. The correct way of fixing the issue would be to open up the wiper cowl and putting mesh on the larger openings on the sides.

Yeah that's wack. Spray lube should only be used in open areas where the solvent can evaporate. In a closed boot, the solvent will keep the grease thin and thin out any existing grease in the boot.

That's a great idea. Maybe Princess Auto will become a TEC sponsor. They certainly have enough truck stuff. Last year they even had RTTs.

well, as the Camera guy - i am exempt from any and all interaction with the camera lense towards the viewers.
I exist in the shadows and behind the lightbar.
    :anonymous:

we also can't use my truck because what "good" youtuber shows their camera guy's vehicle?
Donut didn't even show the Jeep they used as a camera car in the final episode of the Yota build off and overland adventure.

I could possibly see the thin grease and moreso the solvent re flowing the factory grease in the bj that may be hardened and displaced.

Imo I still don't think this is a panecea of lifetime ball joints since it does not fix contaminates and boot degradation. Clickbait I says!

Tldr. It's not a cure all because shit still breaks from time.

Can we get back to balls and pancakes now?
