Hollister Hills

Hey guys,

I'm not sure how well you know Sang. But Sang passed away yesterday. I was going though photos and this photo came up and brought up some fun memories and just thought you would like to know. He introduced me to this site and into wheeling and was a great guy. PM me if you have questions.

 

Oh, no. That's terrible. I only met him the one time, but he seemed like an awesome guy. I hope you and his family are doing alright.

 

Damn that's sad to hear. It just reminds us how fragile life is. I'm sure he was an awesome guy and wish the best for his family and friends.

 

I'm sorry to hear of Sang's passing. May he rest in peace.

Goes to show how fragile life is, and in an instant, things change just like that.

Really enjoyed having the lot of us all hang out and go wheeling when we did; it's what we all loved to do here right? And who better to do it with than friends.

I'm fortunate to have crossed his path and even more to have gotten to know him, even if just for a moment, as a friend.

May he rest in peace.

 

Ohhh man, No...
Not too long ago that I started browsing the Hollister thread and started asking questions. You and Sang quickly responded and reached out to me with helpful answers and knowledge. Then I got to meet Sang recently at a Taco meet and greet just last month in Benicia with peeps who had similar interests! His rig was awesome. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about his build. He introduced me to the rest of his friends and other peeps there. We connected right away. Talking all night to him and others as if we knew each way back. He made me feel very welcomed. He just had that effect on people and that happy go lucky personality.

We were looking forward to seeing him from our recent Hollister meet but he couldn't make it last minute.

Rest in peace brother...

 

Was going to text you this morning; he mentioned having met you before our last meet as I was trying to get a few more to come.

Sang was really genuine, and that's what made you wanna hang out with him and be around him.

Last time we talked we were talking 4Runners; we were talking rigs in general but then he last talked about trying to smog/fix his wife's 4Runner and we were bouncing ideas and all sorts of stuff to figure it out.

@leomodz thanks for letting us know. I really liked Sang and figured I'd be wheeling with him for years and years. He was so young. This is so sad. My sincerest condolonces to his family and close friends, including you Mel.

Make sure you keep wheeling with us. I bet Sang would want that to continue now that he is not the conduit.

 

You've got my number, both you and Mel, and Chris as well.

Would love to get together again.

I never met Sang but I do remember you referencing him a few times, Nelson. He sounded like a great guy.

I'll be at Holister Hills on Thursday 12/30/2021. My brother might also be there in his 4Runner. Anyone else want to meet up?

 

I'd go but with the forecast its probably going to be a muddy mess, and I hate mud after Operation Sloppy Taco. I'd be up to go once it is dry. I really like it there because I can go and come back the same day. Next time.

 

I need to do some repairs on my 4R but afterward, I'd love to go.
