    Handy fire starter!

I got my "collect $200" and keep going. Four out of five lung tumors are down to 5mm; fifth is the jerk and still at 1.8cm by 1.6cm (about a quarter in size). PET scan shows medium activity (a slow-growing form of Adrenocarcionoma). Following scan in 12 months. The odd 3cm in my kidney disappeared (most likely a cyst). Brain and gut looked good, so that's a win!

I still need to get around to making a camping chuck box and an emergency battery box for camping with CPAP and fridge. Jackery 1000 is faster, but I still love building things.

I'm keeping up with Trainer Road (a fancy program to remind me to work out on my indoor bike trainer). I finally got my cadence from 75 to over 95, much easier on my worn out knees to keep those legs spinning—good cardio workout.

A little about what happens when you get old, if you've been good all year... My wife is in need of a new doctor, a specialist, and I exhausted my telephone resources trying to find one locally for an appointment for her urgent needs now. No luck, first appointment available was in February. Our daughter in law ran interference and secured an appointment for TODAY, couple of hours from now, and even tracked down the lost supplementary insurance info. Did I say daughter in law? She's actually our ex daughter in law, who will also be cooking Christmas dinner for us in a couple days! So be good for goodness sake! Merry Christmas to all!

Mission accomplished! It was a high stakes game of 3-D Tetris but I got it all in there. The dog was a little out of sorts since he couldn’t lounge on the entire back seat but we made it with only a couple slightly dented presents. A true Christmas miracle.

    Good morning fellow Porchies!!

Nothing new here at Mighty Mortgage Manor. Bridge replacement work continues - they won't finish this week for sure. Still have at least one more concrete pour of the wings - think that might happen today.

Stay safe out there and safe travels to those on the road.

Two delivery trucks yesterday before noon, two recliners for the tv room and a few other Xmas goodies. I can still bear hug recliners up the stairs, and the old ones down and out to the road. I did take a wee sip of Old Grandad, preceding a nap towards evening though.

    Good Morning porch people.
Big week coming up. Christmas on Saturday and then the big Seven Zero birthday the following Sunday. I have to say you all are an impressive set of folks with all the making, fixing, doing......personally, my ambition doesn't achieve the heights it used to:). I have lots to be thankful for, though. Healthy family, food on the table, and a nice place to live. I'll miss my family, scattered over the country, but my wife and I get to spend Christmas day dinner with good friends. My donation will be a homemade apple pie.

Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas :santa:, and Happy New Year to everyone! Thanks for letting me share the porch!

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch People! Not too much fog as was expected this AM, just a little grey to burn off. More coffee, and onto the little list!

    Nice packing job, Kevin!

Oh, we didn't do my rear shocks Saturday, because I foolishly missed "eyelet mounts" on the top. Well, the fix is an adapter, and I was a little worried because the on-line pix were a little "weenine" looking, and I thought I would have to hunt the bolts and such. They came a week earlier than promised, yesterday.

    20211222_142420.jpg

I'm a LOT more confident about this, now!

    Morning all:

    Happy 70th Bill!

And you were worried about getting all that stuff in Kevin, looks like there's plenty room for 1 more item on the right!! :D
Actually looks like the back of my 4-Runners when 2 of us hunted Maine, when there was 3 of us I needed a small trailer to haul the extra gear for the other guy, plus then we could put deer on top of it.
