Resident NEWB here - just joined up with hopes I'll learn a thing or two. Issues I need to address: Crap brakes, leaky steering pump, all sorts-o-chatter in the steering column, squeaky clutch, and torn cup holder tabs. I love my 03, just need to get this stuff sorted out. Happy to be here....

Resident NEWB here - just joined up with hopes I'll learn a thing or two. Issues I need to address: Crap brakes: make sure rear brakes are adjusted, also check pad linings for wear, or just change to OEm pads to be safe, also look into switching to tundra calipers
leaky steering pump- what kinda fluid are you using? ive heard PS loves to eat yota seals
all sorts-o-chatter in the steering column: welcome to the 1st gen tacoma!
squeaky clutch- Hows the cluch lookin are all bearings good, anything burnt?
and torn cup holder tabs: Dont be so rough in the front seat, if needed move to the back
I love my 03: stick it in the tail pipe

just need to get this stuff sorted out. Happy to be here....we are all happy to have you here too :)

Well thanks - good platform to start with - after getting things sorted, would love to do a subtle lift, and maybe a fabric type camper shell/cover.

dont get rid of the calipers you have on there. these things come with four piston calipers they are all your every gonna need for this truck. hell corvettes came with four piston calipers for years the toyota thought it'd be a great idea to throw em on a light truck so you can stop a train
